Post 19 of 20: Time to Act! Help Promote Our Mega Co-op Movement!

Obviously, the MC schemes described in this blog will not work unless accepted by a great majority of some 60 million Filipino resident and expat voters.  Thankfully, we have the internet to speed things up!  The target: eliminate most poverty-creating practices & corruption cultures in State (described in this blog's past posts) thru constitutional change. How?  Firstly, we refuse to adopt current Filipino politicians' con-change proposals as they hardly change corruption cultures & elite rule by a few.  Only two charter change methods currently exist: a) thru a constituent assembly whereby 3/4 of Congressional members approve constitutional changes, then a people's plebiscite is held under COMELEC management; b) thru a constitutional convention whereby 2/3 of Congress decide on changes, then a plebiscite is held also thru the COMELEC.  Unfortunately for both procedures, the old corruption-tainted Congress writes up the new constitution, which means the president-dominated majority party will further enshrine their interests into law.  Furthermore, the president appoints COMELEC officials who then appoints their choice of a computer company to count referendum votes.  Public suspicions cannot be avoided given such circumstances but the law is the law.  Decades of attempts to reform the 'incestuous' system have miserably failed.  In 1987, the Cory Aquino regime passed a People's Initiative law which enables the people to repeal and/or change any law for their benefit.  It was however scuttled as 'inoperable' in 1997 by a Supreme Court of mainly presidential appointees.  In 2006, another attempt to implement the PI law was made by people's organizations but the sitting Supreme Court (of presidential appointees as usual) declared the proposed changes as 'unconstitutional'.  Indeed even if any of the current politician-proposed 'con-change' method prospered, a COMELEC of presidential appointees managing the plebiscite plus a compliant Supreme Court similarly appointed by the president will still garner suspicions of old-style corruption-tainted political party majorities always getting their way, mass interests always at bottom priority.

What's the remedy?  Nascent mega co-ops' leaders (retired officers of top corporations & universities, etc.) have to contact green organizations & Funds as well as potential JV techno partners & propose green JVs & green credits using this blog as guide.  Positive replies from said organizations may be used by the MC Movt as bases to persuade the remaining doubting masses as to the feasibility, profitability, & desirability of the entire MC program.  Honest sitting politicians may even support the activities. At the proper time, the MC Movt should initiate constitutional change thru popular clamor (signatures, nationwide 'warm body' public demonstrations, statements of withdrawal of support, set up of convenor groups, peoples' media coverage & other means) by 70+% of voters & their allies.   Success can only mean a constitution & enabling laws that ensure gov't truly by, of, & for a people intent on building a democratic Philippine highway to the 1st World.

Here are the major tactical details: 1) The Movt uses the internet and various means to sell the MC system & century business plans (described herein) to all Filipino voters local & abroad.  Same for 1st World green orgs, green political leaderships & potential MC JV techno partners.  2) Concurrently, the Movt persuades retirees, officials, faculties,  employees, contacts & alumni of over a thousand Phil. colleges of Agriculture, Business & Sciences to lead in forming pre-MCs that plan on setting up high-profit agroforests, ethanol distilleries with power plants, & other related 'bootstrap' JVs described in this blog.  Counterparts in the local industrial, commercial & services corporate sectors large to small should join said Academe experts in forming pre-MCs.  Said expert leaderships as investor-officers have to quickly connect with Brazilian & Indian distillery companies for future purchase of turnkey mini distilleries, 70% financed by world Green Funds under Phil. govt guarantee.  Sweet sorghum farming & processing technologies may come from Central Luzon Colleges of Agriculture & companies who have engaged in such endeavors.  The said expert leaderships should further contact appropriate foreign techno companies & propose JVs (at 50-50 capital). US' GE & Japanese companies may be approached for future turnkey purchase of 50 to 100MW ethanol-fed power plants to be constructed nationwide within several years, funding & State guarantee terms as in the distilleries.  Japan's keiretsu companies may be approached for set-up of distillery equipment manufacturing plants.  Thousands of other 1st World techno companies may be approached for other JVs described in this work. Said companies' long-tested 'names' as JV partners should persuade the world's green Funds to finance the projects at 60-75% project cost.  3) Concurrent with the 2nd tactic, university & high school students + corporate employees should form thousands of 6-member teams to sell the entire MC Movt scheme to all 'unaware' Filipino voters in rural, urban, slum, upland & other areas. Patient teaching should be conducted to citizen groups who had mere elementary schooling (60+% of population).  Powerful attractors for bottom masses will be regular good-paying jobs + free capital shares + dividend income + possession of shares that rise in value + State loans for small group business + consequent low prices for electricity, transport fares, education, housing, consumer items, etc;   4) To finance the described teams' transport, food & lodging needs, all supportive corporations, organizations, friendship groups & individuals local & abroad should donate funds to said teams. Pre MCs' websites should centralize activities, with this blog's ads as guides.  University alumni associations should play a great part in arousing old bonds among their employed alumni local & abroad + their contacts.  Pre-MCs should post their website or blog addresses on this blog to 'hook' prospective members, potential JV partners & suppliers towards exciting internet-enabled planning & organization activities;  5) All teams should recruit village govts (barangays) to the Movt to prepare for honest plebiscite voting thru a world-respected internet service provider such as Google;  6) Once Movt membership reaches 70% of voters, Movt leaders & their lawyers as Constitutional Convention should write up the proposed constitution.  Old political leaderships should persuade traditional politicians to forget their 'milk the State' ways & instead invest their billions in MCs & ASEAN Festival Malls to earn even more fortunes, plus mass respect,  admiration & spiritual fulfillment.   7) At plebiscite time (several months after convention), voting activities should be handled by village govts (Barangays) thru the said commercial internet company that routinely maintains foolproof recording systems to conserve its trusted name. The process erases all doubts as to the honesty of computer-enabled elections formerly run by the president-appointed COMELEC & their choice of a foreign computer counting company that refuses to show its basic codes 'under proprietary rights.'  Contrariwise, major world-scale computer service operators (Google, etc.) are able to store data on 'forever' basis thru read-only cloud storage in multiple computer memories. Any post-referendum questioning voter or group may thus access their encrypted files anytime & trace collated data for 'the absolute truth'.  With zero doubts, the masses thru their leaderships may then declare their people-approved constitution as 'henceforth in effect'.

Q1: How should the MC Movt elect leaderships for the new govt that ensures 'everybody wins except the corrupt'?  A1: The MC Movt's green business operations will largely involve international partners.  New gov't leaderships should hence have long international exposures on the said areas.  Unfortunately, very few local leaderships had world-scale green business experience & international links.  Only one such leader qualifies: the former Secretary of Agriculture who headed a world-renowned research institute for sorghum-based ethanol distillation as major 3rd World contribution towards ending global warming.  Said expert's top level exposure in sweet sorghum cultivation & distillation technologies, as well as his funding & techno linkages should facilitate endless MC green operations in the Philippines.  World Green Funds will more easily grant loans to MCs' ethanol-based industries & other green projects when the top local program handler has such credentials.  Said expert should best be elected by the I-Congress as Prime Minister.  A2: International JV investors & funding orgs. should similarly look for long-trusted (squeaky clean) leaderships who had long exposure & contacts on world-scale investment promotions & protection.  Again only one local leader snugly fits the bill: a former senator who had long handled investment & tourism promotions, industrial zone operations, disaster management, the local Red Cross, & fearless senate investigations on top-level corruption.  Said leader should be elected by I-congress as Minister of International Trade & Industry (Japanese style).  A3: I-Congress (actually a Parliament) being composed of some 300 currently elected officials + 5k top retired leaderships from the MC & corporate sectors should elect among themselves the most qualified ministers to State executive posts, including Justice & Armed Forces departments.  The resultant absence of a near dictatorial party headed by the president (as in old times) should ensure old corruption cultures permanently buried.  All should communicate & vote via internet except when hundred-member 'eyeball' committees & expert consultants get appointed by I-Congress & BACB members to study issues & recommend solutions.  All committees should only collate proposed ideas & present simplified options for the entire body to vote upon.  No more old-style tiny committees beholden to the president making decisions for the entire body as in the past, an obvious corruption giveaway.  Additionally,  the new MC Movt systems will ensure that 15+k of the country's top minds managing government largely thru websites will always lead to decisions that benefit the people, not political parties & their dependents.  The primary 'honesty enforcer': no State supplier or contractor will afford to bribe or threaten thousands of 'name-conscious' cyber approvers who owe no debt of gratitude to no one.   Where will the multi-trillion-level salaries & operational budgets for the new MC Movt bureaucracies come from?  The PITCOS, CITCOS, VATCOS laws and all related world-class investment & green financing systems described in this blog should in short time raise Phil. GDP to trillion-dollar levels yearly.  Consequently, concurrent State tax incomes should rise by 30-50 times current levels, which means easy affordability of the new State budgets + massive savings on State aid (education, health, peace & order, etc.) due to full employment + enormous savings for unforeseen circumstances & for purchase of industrial metal hoards that raise State credit worthiness to top levels worldwide.  We should always see solid, stable, trustworthy, corruption-free, world-renowned, investor-friendly Phil gov't regimes for as long as MC Movt principles run the show.

Q2: Since this blog's described MC Movt schemes are currently known to very few people, how may we start selling the entire scheme to 50+ million Filipino voters?  A2: A promo enterprise set up by the author has to perform the following: a) advertise this blog & its explanatory sections thru social media in English & Tagalog; b) print 1M 'blog hooker' flyers & hire staff to distribute them among mall booth operators, entrepreneurs & appropriate corporate employees nationwide; c) hire & train staff to answer internet questions; d) hire staff to operate a coordination center for MCs & their potential JV partners & suppliers; e) hire an Overseas Filipinos recruitment team; f) print posters & hire personnel to stick them in appropriate public places nationwide;  g) perform other related works.  As one may imagine, all such activities require massive budgets for equipment, operations & personnel expenses that approach a good part of political parties' billion-peso budgets for nationwide campaigns. However, the expected setup of pre-MC student & employee promo teams in thousands nationwide all supported by millions of individual & corporate donors local & abroad should pare off the major portion of such budgets.  Nonetheless, the author's promo enterprise that targets nationwide activities will need multi-million peso support thru the following schemes: 1) thru a Question & Answer service;  2) thru ads posted in this blog; 3) thru donations from individuals & organizations local & abroad, as follows:

    1) Thru the author's Question and Answer service: 10-20 member friendship groups abroad may pool small personal sums and send the lot to author's bank account as indicated below. Every P500 (or $50) sent by a  friendship group entitles said group to send ten questions that require data research to author's email address:  fermin4megacoops@gmail.com.  Replies will be sent to the group's email address.  Such scheme should strengthen friendship bonds for questioning groups.  The attractor: help redeem bottom poor while earning good 'sideline' income & creating new friends worldwide.  2) Thru ads posted in this blog.  Advertisers may be as follows: (a) Mgt level retirees, officers, doctors, faculty, & employees of the Philippines' over 2k Agri, Eng'g, Business & Sciences colleges & universities that form pre-MCs. Alumni Ass'n or pre-MC website addresses posted in this blog should attract investors & partners from all over;  (b) Employees of large scale Philippine corporations private & public, led by their management level retirees that together have set up pre-mega co-ops.  Their  website addresses posted in this blog will 'fish' for investors, JV partners & suppliers from all over;  (c) 1st World companies that wish to engage with Phil. mega co-ops as JV partners and/or suppliers to expand markets thru  ASEAN Festival malls worldwide, etc.;  (d) Local and foreign food processing factories wishing to obtain volume raw materials at low prices thru crop & livestock contracting with MC agroforests; (e) Small local cos. that wish to expand to international markets thru consolidation arrangements with MCs that will have access to ASEAN Festival Malls worldwide; (f) 1st World cos. that manufacture, install & service farm & factory tools, machineries & supplies.  Advertising this early 'plants the first flags' towards future sales expansions thru ASEAN mega co-ops;  (g) Dialect, province, town & school based Filipino expatriate associations in foreign countries who plan on investing to help their relatives & province-mates back home to get good jobs thru MCs set up by their alma mater schools & universities;  (h) Filipino retiree groups abroad who wish to expand their pensions' purchasing power thru bottom-cost MC 'resort style' retirement in the Philippines, with income from their mega co-op related businesses to boot;  (i) Other related interests.

To advertise, send email to fermin4megacoops@gmail.com stating your intent to advertise including company or investment group name, email, website, Facebook & other addresses, + products and services offered.  Author will type said items at the end of an appropriate blog post as a section titled: 'Potential MC partners, investors and  suppliers'.  Example posted at bottom of post 'Agroforest Development': [ABC Co. (email, website addresses) for supply of hand tractors, farm tools, irrigation equipment, etc.]  The minimalist scheme avoids image clutter and conserves limited Blogger memory allowed for the author as well as limited cellphone memories.  Ad fee is $50 (P2,500) monthly, with one month discount for six months' advance payment, all sent thru money transfer cos. as described below.  Advertisers are advised to post in several blog pages for 'reader familiarization' exposure.
